Tim has over 25 years' experience advising sponsors, shareholders, lenders and borrowers in international energy and infrastructure transactions.
Having gained his MA in theology from the University of Cambridge and an LLM from the University of London, he qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1989.
Until 2016 Tim was a partner in the Allen & Overy Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Group based in London, focusing on European and Middle Eastern energy and infrastructure markets, including leveraged acquisition and structured finance transactions.
His experience covers international work across a range of sectors, acting for financiers (including Islamic lenders, project bond arrangers, multi-lateral agencies and export credit agencies), project and acquisition companies and sponsors.
Tim also worked for Allen & Overy in Germany for seven years and is a fluent German speaker.
